About - Delatio is a grand prix stallion who is supremely rideable, with an outstanding temperament and excellent reliability. He is a strong, yet elegant type, with good movement, and correct conformation.

Performance - Demonstrating his perfect rideability and temperament, Delatio won the 2007 performance test in Adelheidsdorf and began breeding in the Netherlands. Under Miranda Rongen, he qualified for the Bundeschampionat and later won at Prix St. Georges and Intermediaire I level. He first started competing at grand prix with Bianca Kasselmann, finding all the work easy and always paying attention to his rider. He is now competing internationally for Great Britain under Emile Faurie, finishing second in the Olympia grand prix freestyle with 80% on only their second appearance together.

Sire - Sire De Niro is currently regarded as one of the most successful, living dressage sires worldwide and top of the WBFSH sire rankings in 2016 for the fourth time. In Oldenburg he was I-a main premium winner, he successfully made his dressage Grand Prix debut at the age of seven, won the "Blue Band" at the German Derby in Hamburg as well as at the German Championship for professional riders twice. In 2008, he was proclaimed "Hanoverian Stallion of the Year", and has produced already more than 76 licensed sons in Germany alone. His offspring include Desperados FRH, D'Agostino, Dablino, Delgado, Danone I, Glock's Voice, Super Nova II, Der Designer, Dancier and Don Deluxe.  

Damsire - Damsire Rubinstein I, who competed up to grand prix, is known for passing on his rideability and good temperament. Rubinstein's dam is the full sister of Olympic gold medallist Ahlerich and grand prix horse Amon. Delatio's dam Rubina has also produced a second licensed son, Heinrich Heine (by Hochadel), and a state premium daughter by Sandro Hit. 

Progeny - Delatio's oldest offspring are nine-year-olds in 2018, and include the keur mare Elhouette and the successful small tour horse Emando. Delatio has crossed well with a variety of mares, and is an ideal choice to add reliability and rideability.
